Sangeet Gurukul – Indore’s first and only private institute for Indian Classical Music – founded by acclaimed vocalist Shri Gautam Kale and Smt. Aditi Gautam Kale, blends the timeless traditions of our musical heritage with modern learning. Affiliated with Raja Mansingh Tomar University, it shapes passionate learners into professional artists through academic courses, workshops, and concerts with legends like Pt. Jasraj, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, and Ust. Zakir Hussain. From hosting iconic events like the Indore Music Festival to inspiring social change, Sangeet Gurukul is where talent meets tradition, and music becomes a way of life.

Sangeet Gurukul Presents - SWAR CHETNA

Sangeet gurukul ,keep coming up with innovative ways to meet the sole purpose of propagating Indian classical music ,the legendary art form of our country. With the same intent sangeet gurukul has designed a project “Swar Chetna” in which we are planning to conduct music awareness program in schools. The students are prospective heirs of nation. Absorption, adaptation and grasping is at its best in this budding age . To bring them more close and providing right exposure of our culture to the age group when they get fascinated to west, easily. When rooted and equipped with correct knowledge, not only they will value our rich culture, but will analyze what is best for them.

We will also invite artists from all over India to be a part of this awareness program to provide wider vision to the students. This will add value in imparting classical music knowledge in a much organized and efficient way, where we can make best use of time, talent and learning.

Gurukul has imparted Indian classical vocal education to more than 1000 students till date. Amongst which maximum students are youth, who are the vibrant future of India. Many of our students comes from different part of country and few from overseas. We have immensely talented students in urban, as well as in rural areas. We are looking forward to provide education to talented and needy students and thus reaching to maximum musically aspirant people .
